1. Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to enter a contract and use Jobber in your location. If you use Jobber for another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so and to provide any content, accounts, credentials, and third-party services you connect.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining control of your sign-in email, devices, provider accounts, and recovery methods. Notify Jobber support promptly if you believe an account or license has been used without permission. You may not sell, share, or transfer account access except where the applicable license expressly allows it.
3. Desktop license
A completed desktop purchase grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the purchased major version on the number of devices shown at checkout. The licensed major version continues to work after its included update period, subject to operating-system compatibility, third-party service availability, and these terms. Future major upgrades may require a separate purchase.
4. Purchases, renewals, and refunds
- Desktop
- The checkout shows the one-time price, device allowance, included update and support period, and refund terms before payment.
- Jobber AI
- Jobber AI renews for the billing period shown at checkout until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless law requires otherwise.
- Billing
- Paddle is the merchant of record and handles payment, receipts, applicable taxes, and approved refunds. Prices may change for future purchases or renewal periods after required notice.
5. AI features
- AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate.
- You must review every evaluation, claim, document, and suggested action.
- Jobber does not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, salary, or job availability.
- Bring-your-own provider access remains subject to that provider's eligibility, usage, billing, and data terms.
- Jobber does not silently switch providers when a selected provider fails.
- Jobber AI uses a hard allowance and stops rather than creating automatic usage overages.
6. User control and product boundaries
Jobber does not submit applications, send messages, schedule events, accept third-party terms, or answer sensitive questions without your direct action. You make every final employment and application decision. Features that prepare materials do not create an agency, fiduciary, recruiter, employment, or professional-adviser relationship.
7. Job sources and third-party services
Listings, company information, websites, AI providers, and other third-party services are outside Jobber's control. Availability, accuracy, access, and terms can change. Jobber may disable or limit a source when access is prohibited, unclear, unsafe, or unreliable. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with third-party terms.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of content you provide and materials generated from it. You grant Jobber only the limited rights needed to operate a feature you request, such as processing a document locally or sending approved task context to your selected provider. You represent that your content and instructions do not violate law or another person's rights.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use Jobber to:
- break laws, infringe rights, deceive employers, or fabricate qualifications;
- bypass authentication, robots rules, rate limits, or technical access controls;
- introduce malware, probe the service without authorization, or interfere with other users;
- resell, sublicense, copy, reverse engineer, or circumvent licensing except where law expressly permits; or
- use automated features to spam, harass, discriminate, or make unlawful high-impact decisions.
10. Intellectual property and feedback
Jobber and its software, site, branding, and documentation are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms grant only the license described above. If you provide feedback, you grant Jobber a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it without identifying you or disclosing your private career content.
11. Availability, updates, and termination
Jobber may change or discontinue online services, providers, sources, or features to improve safety, comply with law, or maintain the product. We may suspend an account for fraud, security risk, nonpayment, or material violation of these terms. You may stop using Jobber and cancel a renewable subscription at any time. Account closure does not automatically erase the local workspace on your Mac.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jobber is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing. We do not warrant that the software, AI output, job sources, or online services will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jobber will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of data, or costs of substitute services. Jobber's aggregate liability for claims relating to a paid product will not exceed the amount you paid Jobber for that product during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Jobber from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, content you did not have the right to use, or a material violation of these terms.
15. Governing terms and changes
The legal provider identity, notice address, governing law, and any required dispute process appear in the controlling checkout and license documents for your region. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted with a new effective date and communicated when required. Continued use after an effective date means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law.
